FAQ
What is a “Real Life Escape Game”?
In a real life escape game, you will be “locked” into a room. To successfully finish your game, you must solve a sequence of logic puzzles and be able to work well together with your team. Throughout the game, many items will be locked or inaccessible to you. To access the items, you need to solve puzzles or interact with the room a certain way. The ultimate goal of the game is to open the final door that leads to your escape.
Is it safe?
Our themes are completely safe. The entrance door is never locked, and you will be able to walk out in case of any emergencies. There are no physical traps or jump scares in any of our games.
How much time do I have?
You will have a total of 45 mins (Edmonton, Seattle) / 50 mins (Vancouver) to attempt your escape.
How many people are required?
Most of our games are designed to be played by a minimum of two people per game. A few games may require more people. You can browse all of our escape room themes here.
Do you accept online payment?
Currently, we don’t require you to pay online in advance. We accept cash, debit, or credit card in store. No refunds.
Do I need to make a booking?
We recommend booking online but drop ins are welcome as well.
Will we join with other groups?
All games are automatically privatized. If a group of 2 wants to play a game that fits 8 then the remaining 6 seats will be automatically blocked off.

Can we take photos or videos in the room?
We like to keep the games a surprise to the players who have never been inside before. Therefore, we will ask you to lock up your phones, cameras, or any electronics in our complimentary lockers before entering the game.
What are we allowed to bring into the room?
We will require you to lock up your cellphones and any other electronic devices, as well as any items that would compromise the integrity of the game (such as pens and paper). Any tools needed to complete a puzzle will be provided in the room. Our lockers are free for all participants to use; remember to collect your items afterward and leave the key on the locker.
Are food and drinks allowed in the room?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of sensitive electronics and props in the room. Only water bottles with a secure lid are allowed inside the games.
Are there any jump scares or traps?
None of our games are particularly scary, and they do not contain jump scares or traps. There may be some props that might not be suitable for young children. The rooms are dimly lit and teams are often required to share flashlights.
1. We thoroughly enjoyed the game! However we did not complete it in time. Are we allowed to play the same game again?
Yes! If you would like to retry a game, you can do so at a discounted price. Your group will have another 50 minutes to attempt the game, but do note that your hints will be restricted. Be sure to talk to a staff member about getting a discount card for your room, if you do not wish to retry it right away.
2. Are there age or health requirements?
People of all ages enjoy our games. However, we ask that any children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult. There should also be players on your team who are able to occasionally move or pick up objects off the ground.
